Some Annecy Sights

So everyone knows some major sights of Paris, but I thought I'd show some pics of the other town I'm going to be in. It's called Annecy. It is a town in the middle eastern side of France, right on the Alps. It's quite small, the population only being about 50,000 in 2006. Here's some pictures:

Also, one more interesting thing I found out when I was doing some research, Annecy is actually putting in a bid to host the winter Olympics in 2018! Yes, it's a ways away, but still very exciting!

Flying is Scary!

Ok, so maybe not so much for you experienced fliers, but it's my first time! Anyway, I finally got my tickets for the trip, and it's such a relief! I actually am going to fly with a girl from our group. She's never flown before either. So it'll be good for both of us to have a buddy. I'm just really not excited for layovers and customs and all that fun stuff.
Now all I have to worry about is packing and getting my passport here already!

Busy Busy

Oh man there is a lot that goes into all of this! First of all, applying for a passport is hard work. They ask about everything! I feel so pressured when I feel out stuff like that too. I already need some white out for putting my last name in the first name space... Dang. But there's also so much to think about when getting plane tickets and everything like that! Basically I'm just looking forward to when I can just go already. I can't wait!

So I got the email today that I've been accepted into the Study Abroad to France this summer through USU. I will be going to Paris for a week, then to a town called Annecy for the rest of the time.
